Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, founder of Biocon: "I've had many failures in terms of technological... business... and even research failures. I really believe that entrepreneurship is about being able to face failure, manage failure, and succeed after failing.
Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx: “Embrace what you don’t know, especially in the beginning, because what you don’t know can become your greatest asset. It ensures that you will be doing things absolutely differently from everybody else.”
Jeff Bezos: "If you never want to be criticized, for goodness' sake don't do anything new."

Steve Jobs: “We don’t get a chance to do that many things, and every one should be really excellent. Because this is our life. Life is brief, and then you die, you know? And we’ve all chosen to do this with our lives. So it better be damn good. It better be worth it.”
Fred Smith, CEO of FedEx: “Leaders get out in front and stay there by raising the standards by which they judge themselves--and by which they are willing to be judged.”

Nina Vaca, founder of Pinnacle Technical Resource: “Don't be afraid to celebrate your accomplishments. Just celebrate those of others more.”

Larry Page: "You can try to control people, or you can try to have a system that represents reality. I find that knowing what's really happening is more important than trying to control people."
Sergey Brin: "Obviously everyone wants to be successful, but I want to be looked back on as being very innovative, very trusted and ethical, and ultimately making a big difference in the world."
